My name is Steven Thulin, and I am the owner and founder of Thulin Bookkeeping.

After stepping away from corporate America, I combined more than 25 years of hands-on financial experience with a strong foundation in cloud-based technology to build a bookkeeping firm dedicated to supporting small and mid-sized businesses nationwide. My goal is simple: to bring clarity, structure, and confidence to your financials so you can spend less time worrying about the books and more time focusing on growing your business.

My passion for finance and operations began early. While working my way through college, I discovered a genuine interest in building efficient processes, organizing complex information, and uncovering opportunities to improve profitability. That curiosity never faded. Today, those same skills allow me to help business owners transform disorganized financial data into clear, actionable insights that support smarter decisions.

On a personal note, my family and I relocated to Sioux Falls more than ten years ago. My wife, Sarah, and I made the move with young children and a newborn, unsure of what to expect. Any hesitation quickly disappeared as we fell in love with the people, the community, and the Midwest way of life. We are proud to call South Dakota home.
